From my day in the lovely city of Charleston, on a city walk and beach run.

All images fuji reala 100 and kodak portra 160.

I saw this gentleman walking around with this crucifix and had to hope out of the truck on the highway, in the rain to get this shot.

I had the chance to visit some close friends in South Carolina a little while ago and while down there took the chance to do some exploring. I"ll post a few entries on this, but for now here is a glimpse at some of the die hard shrimpers that work really hard to get us our shrimp cocktail.

All images film, Fuji Reala 100 and superia 400

very cool Joseph. I enjoyed hanging out with you, in this 100% humidity/100 degree Charleston weather. Come back soon, ya hear?

A few rainy weekends ago I had the pleasure to shoot Valerie and Mike's wedding in Boston. It was a fun wedding, with a cool crowed. Mike and Valerie are both huge sports fan, so when you see their cake you'll understand why it had to look like Fenway Park.

Cheers!

For you photo friends, these were shot on my F5, F3 and on Amber's N90s on fuji superia 400, 800 and kodak portra 400 and Ilford HP5 and Ildord delta 3200.

Just wanted to share a quick BW preview of some of Valerie and Mike's Beacon Hill wedding. All shots from my 1978 vintage Canonet QL17 and my Pentax 645 on Ilford Delta 3200. I love the out of focus and timeless feel this old camera gives me. Its something that can't be imitated with digital.

I did a fun family shoot a little while ago with new parents Sarah and Kristopher. I shot there wedding a few years ago at the State Room and it was an honor to shoot their new family here in Boston while they were visiting.
Enjoy!

LOVE the shot of all the boys playing in the fountain!
(07.20.11 @ 02:46 PM)do you think jesus had wheels on his cross? great shots.
(08.15.11 @ 12:41 PM)I really enjoy all of these shots, Joseph, and especially the boys playing in the fountain. There really is a specialness to film. Your particular touch with it makes it all the more special. Re: the man with the cross: In the late 60's and early 70's, a man named Arthur Blessitt also pulled a cross across much of the USA and stopped to conduct rallies in various cites. He added wheels to his cross because he said that he soon discovered that the cross was being ground away by the pavement. Enjoyed your site very much!
