Saturday found me down in Newport shooting Allison and Todd's rocking wedding.  I met up with the two of them as they were getting ready at the Newport Beach Hotel and Suites.  It was very, very sunny, but as we left for the church in Portsmouth, a thick and misty fog rolled in just covering the beach and shore.  It was very uber I thought, as it diffracted all the light!

The ceremony was in a colorful church, St. Anthony's in Portsmouth, and was a full Mass.  At the end of the ceremony there was a short receiving line and then we hopped back into the limo and headed down broadway Newport to an alley I know about, that is just out of the way and very cool.  We shot there for a bit, and this lady came out of one of the doors that leads to the alley to tell is that this alley is famous or something, lol, I was like ok, but the lady kept telling us a story and we were like we gotta go!

We next headed over to the Cliff Walk for some more cool shots and then to the Easton Rotunda for the reception.  We had some down time as the reception was not starting for about an hour and so we just kinda chilled and relaxed at this cool Newport complex until cocktail hour started and guest arrived.  What makes this location cool, aside from the fact that its in Newport and on the beach is that there is a carousel in the building!  Pretty rad right!  Anyway it ran for cocktail hour and ended when guest were told to be seated.

Once the actual reception started the band Blockhead put on a great show.  They rocked the evening with 80's and 90's rock that had everyone jumping up and down and partying.

Allison and Todd were so happy all day and they were super relaxed, as were their wedding party.  Their friends flew in from around the US to be a part of their wedding and you could see how much they all meant to each other.  There was tons of love!

It was rainy, foggy, damp and cold last night when I ventured under the Tobin bridge in Boston so shoot Natasha as a fallen angel wandering the night.  I really don't know where I got this idea from, but I thought that this lousy weather had to be good for something!

I will probably be doing more shoots with these wings and maybe some black ones too, so be on the lookout.  We both got soaked doing this shoot and so did my gear, thank god its pretty much all water resistant!  I was laying in a puddle at one point to get one of these shots, ah nuts!

Anyway, let me know what you think!  I love em!

I am happy to say that I was able to photograph my first persian wedding ceremony this past saturday in Maine with Karen and Reza!

Karen and Reza had a wedding and reception at the Cliff House in York Maine, and had both a traditional american ceremony and a Persian ceremony.  It was a totally cool experience.  I thought it was pretty cool that the bride is not supposed to answer on the first two times she is asked to be wed to her groom, but only on the third time says yes!

The rain held off and the sun came out for their wedding and allowed to get down to the cliffs to have some fun.  There was lots or persian dancing and trying to get the americans at the reception to jam persian style, it was great!

Here are some shots from the day!

Karen's dad after his dance with his daughter was so thankful for everyone who came.

So today I have the cover of Stuff Boston magazine!  Yahoo!  I am so excited!!!  I got to shoot a story about street vendors all over boston and it was so cool!

Go pick up an issue and read all about the places I got to shoot.

The cover shot was an interesting thing, I was shooting the Speed's Hot dog stand in New Market Square when I thought what best to represent street food then food on the street.  So I kinda walked out onto the road, had the guy from the hot dog stand watch over me and proceeded to lay down in the middle of the road and shoot a hot dog.

No sooner then a few clicks into shooting, a cop cruiser pulled up to me and wanted to know if I was just looking to die, lol.  I told them I was just trying to get a shot no one else would, they must have thought I was nuts!stuff.jpg
