It was a beautiful day sunday and perfect for a wedding. Sunday morning found me in Brookline to shoot some shots of Dina and Lee before their wedding. Dina and Lee booked me fairly lat in the year and only wanted me for a little while, which is totally cool. We headed to a park on a hill, Summit park I believe and took some shots before the ceremony back at the temple.
Dina and Lee were very calm and excited to get married. We had some fun at the park and even though it was getting to be mid day with some really harsh lighting from the sun, I was able to find some nicely lit areas in the park to shoot from. This included me lying on the ground more then once, lol.
Here are a few!

Last week it rained just about every day, it was killing me, but by saturday the rain was gone and the sun was out to shine on Michelle and Tommy's wedding.

lI thought this cake looked great! It was just lit awesome, so I had to show you some different views of it!
Michelle and Tommy were getting married and celebrating their reception at the Deven's Common in Devens, Ma at the Marriot Springhill Suites. I met up with them in their rooms while they were getting ready and went back and fourth for a bit. Michelle and Tommy were very excited, and Tommy even sent Michelle a gift before the ceremony, a book with a intro the he inscribed on the first page for her. It was very emotional and beautiful.
The Ceremony was just as cool, with Michele's brother, a soldier in the army, marrying them. He did an incredible job and made the ceremony very personal, emotional and elegant for everyone.
We took some photos outside the hotel in a small park and then headed in for some family photos and the reception. Tommy's dad was the best man and he gave a great speech. The maid of honor's speech was very nice as well, but I think dad's speeches are usually more funny as they can cross a few more lines then your best friend will to get everyone to laugh.
Anyway, here are some pics!

Sunday I met up to shoot with my great friend Erica Ferrone with one of her weddings over at Castle Hill and Ipswich, Ma. Erica and I help each other out a lot, so I was happy to tag team this uber wedding with her.

Vito and Clair are a super cool couple. Vito and his men reminded me a JFK era crew and Claire and her bridesmaids were also as elegant as Jackie Kennedy would have been. It was like walking back in time at the castle and seeing a awesome wedding from the 60's. I loved it.

Sunday found me waking up to a beautiful warm day. I slept till around 11 before heading out to Worcester to meet up with Cheryl and Sean for their engagement shoot. I met them at Elm Park, a pretty cool place with some nice ponds and bridges. I had no idea there were nice parks in Worcester, probably because I don't get out to that side of the state much, lol. So we walked around and talked about the new Star Trek movie and made some nice photos. It was a great beginning to a great day.
Later I met up with Mike and Julia near State Street in Boston for their engagement photos. WE walked around the city streets and I just looked for cool backgrounds and I snapped away. I love shooting in Boston, the urban mess is just cool to me!

I first met up with Maureen and Tom last summer when we did their engagement shoot here in Middleton. We had a great time shooting that day and I was sure that their wedding would be equally as fun.

This is a shot of how I take shots like that one above. Getting dirty is all part of the job, plus its fun.
I met up with Maureen at DIVA salon in Somerville and followed her over to the hotel and then to the church. Maureen was very happy and was smiling all day, it was very nice too see everyone so happy.
At the church a funny thing happened, well as least for me. There was this huge bee's nest above the church entrance and I don't know if it was my hair gel or what, but they were diving at me and chasing me and I was running for my life. I finally just hid in the church until Maureen was ready to exit the limo.
After the ceremony, which was very elegant, we headed to Wakefield to do some cool portraits. The limo guy was like, "to the lake and gazebo" and I was like,"no, to the bank in the center." He didn't trust me, but Maureen and Tom assured him that I was not nuts, lol. We got some cool shot there in Wakefield, I had scouted the places I wanted to shoot the day before and it worked out awesome.
After that we headed to the Montvale plaza for the reception. Montvale is a pretty old place, but their service was excellent and food was exceptional, better then some super high end places I have shot. It was a great time with lots of wine, food and cake. Who doesn't like that! Everyone toasted and danced the night away.
