These are some of my favorite moments from weddings this past 2008, in the form of decor and details from the wedding day. I feel that these details add to the entire wedding experience, and look pretty cool!

So this is my sweet new blog from Into the Darkroom, and Arizona based web team that creates kick ass blogs and websites. I highly recomend them to everyone. They worked with me from the get go to get a new look for my company, the new logo, and branding sense. All I can say is thank you, thank you.

My readers will find this blog much better to navigate and less problematic! I am also going to build up the other sections of this blog/site so that it will be at 100% operation one day. In the meantime, follow me on my twitter stream above and join the RSS!
Cheers.

On monday I met up with Laureen and her fiance Kevin at their home to discuss some of the details of their wedding on February 14th, which is of course Valintimes day!
Before heading into their warm home to do this though, we took the chance to take a few shots of them around their home. It was so so cold. I actually brought an extra pair of sneakers and socks, and thank god, as my feet were frozen after trampling through the snow! But it was worth it, we had fun and got some cool shots. (why i did not wear snow boots is just beyond me!)

One of the first things that I did when I got back from Arizona was, of course sleep, but then prepare for a fashion shoot I had scheduled. IT was going to be a awesome shoot, with time in the city and then at this cool old 60's motel in Peabody, (the kind you would drive by and not want to stay at, which I thought would be a cool backdrop to the shoot).
Of course nothing went as planned, because like so many other events ruined in the Northeast, this day was to be a snow day, and snow it did.
From four models I was down to two, Jasmine and Melissa, two great models who drove through the storm to the salon in Southie at the Moxie Star Salon.
Kristine and Diane did a great job and we were off to shoot.
We were supposed to shoot over the city, but it was really cold and snowy, so I decided to cut a lot of the city stuff short and go straight to the motel.
So here are some shot! Enough of me ranting on, lol.

I love your eye! You do great work and your quite talented! I checked out your web designer and it looks like they only cater to photographers...Is this correct? I also love the fact that you are utilizing social networking and blogging! This has me stumped and I'm on my computer 24/7 trying to figure it out!
I would love to collaborate someday.... Let me know if you are ever in need of a makeup artist for your shoots. I could use some fresh pic's for both my headshot and fashion pic's.. Let me know... Thanks again for helping me out with Aprils photo! Take care ~ Louise~

I spent the last week in Carefree, Arizona, just a few files north of Phoenix, where I attended DWF 2009. The DWF is a collection of wedding photographers from around the world, and we spent the week sharing ideas and techniques, as well as partying and enjoying a winter vacations.

It was about 70 degrees out every day! I was in heaven.
Aside from attending many seminars, I took time to see a real rodeo and some cactuses. I really felt like I was on the set for "Hey Dude," but it was cool. I DJ'd a party with a fellow photographer from Atlanta and did lots of Karaoke. All in all the trip was a great break from the 0 degree days here in Boston.
So here are some shots for you to enjoy.
