So for Christmas 2008 I spent time with both sides of my family. Both sides now have a bunch of little rascals running around now and seeing them brought back lots of memories of when I was a kid. Below are some of my favorite shots from Christmas eve and day. Here is AJ! The 3 amigos. I used to play with these same kind of toys when I was a kid. The 80's are back! No one ever believes me about how much food we eat at this time of year, so below is just half of one of the tables from christmas. And of course no holiday is complete with out a least one or two card games. My godson Salvator and his mom Lynn.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! That was the winter theme of Lauren and Nick's wedding this past Saturday the 22nd. Snowflakes abound and all around. Lauren and Nick were a great couple to shoot with, they were totally calm all day, even with a few of the wedding day hiccups (limo and some bridesmaid dress trouble), but that did not even put a scratch in how happy everyone was, especially Lauren and Nick. What I thought was uber at this wedding was the snow machine that produced snow flakes while everyone danced. It was an awesome sight to see. Since Hiedi was away on holiday I had my fellow photographer and Mayor Menino's photographer Isabel to assist and second shoot with me. She did a great job in getting some shots and alternate angles for me. Below are some of my favorite shots. The room. First dance. Toast. Cake. (not my gumdrop buttons!) Snow. Fin.

I love the snow, well to a point. So with out any doubt I took Tanner and Amanda to do their engagement shoot to the snow covered Boston commons. It was freezing, the car lot was full and we both had to park at meters, but it was uber fun. We started with some simple walking and having fun, than I posed them on a bench when all of a sudden I was jumped my too friendly black labs looking to be photographed. I was slobbered but it was cool, the owner of the dogs said they like cameras! Nice! Anyway, below are my favorites from the engagement shoot. I did not see this sign until after I filled the meter with quarters!!!

So yesterday my good friend Rebecca came by to take some new shots for her portfolio. I tried some new lighting ideas and am pretty pleased with how the shots came out. Of course it helps that Becca is such a pretty girl!

Anyway here I am at 2 a.m. posting on my blog, lol. I was in the studio until 10:00 p.m. today and I am just still kinda full of energy (too much coka cola). So I know I have not been posting much. I have been incredibly busy keeping up with holiday orders, family shoots and the entire holiday rush! Anyway I have been working on this city skyline project too, and so far I have had some great results with what I have tried. While in East Boston shooting the sunset and night skyline of the city I went down to a water taxi dock, it was cold and there were lot of wakes bouncing me around, so to get most of these shots I had to use a tripod and some long exposures. Well below are some of my favorites so far. Check out all the shots in the gallery in my client proofing page. Yes this image is supposed to be at an angle, its not crooked! Some abstract... The night.
