After shooting two weddings on Friday and Saturday, I had relief that I only had to shoot a engagement session on Sunday. I love engagement sessions because they let me try out new ideas, with no time restraints or wedding coordinator watching over my shoulders. Its a time when I can have lots of fun and create some truly expressive images for the couples I am working with. Stephen and Mischa were a blast to work with. I took their photos at Crane's beach in Ipswich. It was a great day, lots of sun, wind and warm air. My goal at this shoot was to do a beach shoot without showing the water. I wanted to create a desert like scene, like the one I saw in Vegas with John Michael Cooper at the DWF convention in March. All in all I think it went great. Below are some of my pics.

This is really late post, but I still wanted to put up some images from this wedding. It was really great! Erin and Patrick were a blast to work with, and so were their friends and family. This wedding brought us from Marblehead to Beverly's Tupper Manor, a cool mansion at Endicott College. We took some portraits near Marblehead harbor, near the neck, and got some great results. Check out my pics below: At the salon, Erin's sister. Erin looking at her veil. At home. At the Ceremony. At the rocks. Dad's speech, another view. Reactions. Two Dads. Dancing, I caught somebody's camera flash. I guess you could say, I was popular that night, lol. They wanted to be in a photo with me and I was happy to do it. The kiss was a plus of course! Joan and Bryan are both Boston College Alumni, and so are many of their friends and family so accordingly they had their wedding at Boston College's Trinity church. We also did their portraits on the main campus, which was pretty fun because of all the cool architecture and landscaping. There was this cool maze like thing and a nice sidewalk that was overshadowed by trees and buildings, creating a cool light that shined through that I used to illuminate Joan and Bryan. The reception was held at the uber hotel Hyatt on the Charles River in Cambridge on the top floor, which provides a vista view of the Boston skyline. Joan and Bryan had a cool band, "Rare Form," which kept the party rocking well into the night. After sunset I brought Joan and Bryan out to the Charles to get some cool skyline shots of the city, but on the way back I got some cool shots of them crossing memorial drive. What made this shot cool to me was that the shot was completely illuminated by car head lights! The light was just surreal, cool and sexy. I definitely want to use it again on another shoot. Well below are some of my favorite shots. In the Limo. Ceremony. Fun shots at the campus library. The Hyatt.

It was another Red Sox and Yankee's wedding, with each side of the two respective families being fans of the other team. Aubrey was brought up a Red Sox's fan and Brad as a Yankee's Fan. Well the two fell in love out in California, far from the east coast rivalry and decided to get married. They were a awesome couple to work with. They were both really excited, laid back and ready to have fun. Friends and family flew in from around the country to attend this wedding in Marblehead. The views were great, the sunset spectacular and the wedding was emotional. The JP shared with the audience the story of how the two met, and it was great story bring a tear to many people's eyes. All in all this was a wedding not to be forgotten. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day. Some getting ready shots at Aubrey's Dad's house. Just before the Ceremony. Some cool light. Portraits at Lighthouse point. The reception view. Sunset.

On Saturday I photographed Zach and Rebecca's Greek Orthodox wedding. They were both really excited and wanted to show their love for each other. Rebecca's bridesmaids' dresses were all created by her maid of honor, which was really cool. Rebecca dress was something very extraordinary, it looked like a dress from the 1920's, which I thought was very uber. Here are a selection of some of my favorite shots from the day. I will post Sundays wedding soon, hopefully anyway. I have been extremely busy trying to keep up with all my shoots, come November, I will have plenty more time to chat here with all of you. Some final touches. The rings. Ceremony. Some fun at the park in Lexington outside the church. The cake top, I love them. Wells thats it for now, ciao ciao!
