On Saturday I photographed Ruth and James's wedding at the Sheraton Castle in Framingham. I started out the day at Ruth's home in Walpole and than we moved to the church and to the reception. Everyone was in super high spirits and great to work with. Some memorable moments from the wedding were the emotions Ruth showed while getting ready, a crazy church coordinator yelling at everyone to move quicker (yes she yelled!) and some great dancing by a few of the guest. On Friday I was at the Hyatt Harborside shooting the wedding of Zohar and Burckhard. It was kinda like a destination wedding with most the guest coming from Germany and Israel, but there were many from around here as well. It was very cool. Zohar and Burckhard's ceremony was really interesting and fun, with stories of how they met, fell in love and lived their lives. You really got to know what was really important to them and what they loved about each other. It was great. Below are some of my favorite shots. On Saturday the 18th I got to shoot a wedding that I have very excited about for over a year: Amanda and Bowen's Wedding at Worcester's Union Station. Its a fully functional train station with extremely high ceilings and awesome art deco design. Amanda and Bowen married at the Mary Martha Chapel and had some portraits taken at the Gris Mill across the road. It was a long and fun day photographing their wedding, full of lots of color, light and the car from Dukes of Hazard. Instead of taking a limo or another type of fancy car like everyone else, they rented the General Lee to take them from the Ceremony to the reception. There were limo's too for the bridal party. When I walked into this hotel, I thought I was in Vegas or another major travel destination with great hotels. I was there for the wedding of Melissa and Asher, with about 500+ guest! It was a great wedding experience and as it was a jewish orthodox wedding with lots of heritage, tradition and prayer built into it. So there was lots for me to cover.
