Welcome to my blog! Hi everyone!  This is the place where I post my latest weddings, shoots and travel details.  If you want to see what I am doing, this is the place to be.
OK so it was a really busy week, starting with Alex and Robert in Nahant, followed by Jen and Brett in Nahant. Both weddings were at the Nahant Country Club, a really cool place that FDR's family used to have weddings at, so it had a kind of classiness (I don't think that's a word) to it. Anyway, later that week I also had to engagement session. First I met up on with Christine and Russ in Salem where we walked around the downtown area. Second I met up with Stacie and Nick at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Both weddings and Engagement Shoots went uber. All the couples were great to shoot and unique in their own ways that made the photography exciting. I would tell you more, but I am just spent and kinda hungry so here are some of my favorite shots from the week.: Alex and Bobby after the ceremony..just great emotion! They were so happy! Some singing..

Well its the wedding date that almost everyone wanted this year, 777! The date went to Janine and Andy, and it was just a great day: perfect light, temperature and most importantly, no rain. I met up early with Janine at a salon in Marblehead and got a few shots of the girls before they had their hair styled. I always like the idea of having before and after photos. It shots progression through the day and change. After that, I headed home for a few hours before meeting up with the girls again at the Marriot in Peabody where they were getting ready. From there it was off to the church in Lynn and than to Spinneli's in Lynnfield for the reception. They always do a nice job at Spinneli's, I have shot their many times and have noticed that. Of particular interest at the reception to me, was the fact that all the ushers (well almost all of them) gave a speech. I thought this was a cool touch and showed how much of a good friend they all are to Andy and Janine. Everybody grooved to the DJ, and danced the night away. That was 7:7:07 and here are some pics: Thats me getting the vows... Janine taking a photo. I love this shot from the reception.

as one of the bridesmaids I heard all the stories back and forth about the different people Janine hired for her wedding, the dj, the limo company, the photographer, etc..
granted, we looked at your site and were impressed, but, never did I imagine such beautiful pictures. Thanks, I know they will both love them when they get back.

A destination wedding in Marblehead! People from as far as Maui flew in tho be at Karen & Jason's wedding this past Saturday at the Corinthian Yacht Club and Marblehead Light. The majority of the guest were from Texas, but there were also many from Marblehead and the North Shore. Karen's family was from Marblehead, they still have a house there, but have since moved away to places around the country. It was Karen's wish to have everyone come together in the place where her family was from, and so they did. It was a beautiful day and everyone had a great time taking in the view of the harbor, watching all the sailboats go by and enjoying some nice drinks on the club's deck. Jason was really cool too. He was all decked out in his dress uniform and having a great time meeting everyone. Karen's niece was also super fun, she looks like Shirley Temple, and she wanted to dance with Karen all day log, LOL. Here are some of my favorite pics. The inn Karen and Jason stayed at: Dress and flowers Getting ready. Jason getting ready. On their way: I love this shot, it just shows how happy Karen is, plus you get to see the kids on the bench smiling and being happy too. At the harbor/cove: Ceremony: A few portraits: Table settings: And finaly, the rings:

It was really hot today! Like 90+, thank god for pools. I spent some time in mine just to keep from overheating and passing out, and of course I took Koko in with me. But back to work... This weekend, the 23rd, I met up with Shaina and Justin at the Atkinson Resort & Country Club in NH for their wedding. It was a nice outdoor ceremony that had the feel of a tropical wedding on an island somewhere. It was also a day wedding, with the reception ending around 4 p.m. I love these weddings because there is plenty of great morning light to work with. Receptions benefit too if there are windows like there were. I still used strobes, but just as fill flash and to keep everyone looking great! Shaina and Justin tied the knot with all their friends and family around them. There were a lot of people having fun! They even had a cool candy station for everyone to make their own take home box of treats. So check out my favorite shots and let me know what you think in the blog comments:)
