Last week on one of our last warm days I met up with Emily and Greg for their awesome engagement shoot at Walden Pond. Emily and Greg were so excited to shoot and were at total ease just having fun and letting me shoot.
We walked around the area, near the pond, which to me looks like a lake, and then off to some large grassy field that kinda seemed out of place.
I can't wait to shoot their wedding!

Saturday had me driving out west to meet with Meaghan, her husband Joseph and their two children for a family lifestyle photo session at their new home.
It was a rainy day, I mean the streets were practically flooded and I think I saw a squirrel surfing, lol. So we shot in their home and just let the kids have fun!

Mike and Julia were married this past saturday in Boston at 60 state street. It was a beautiful wedding with an incredible view of the city and tons of people all sharing stories, toast and love to everyone except for the Yankees that is of course. Yes this was a true Boston wedding, right down to the Red Sox jerseys being dawned by the bridal party late into the evening while the band Night Rhythm kept everyone going.

I met up with Mike and Julia early in the day around 11 a.m. at the Lamgham Hotel where they were getting ready. Hair and Makeup for the bridal party was completed by my friend Alisha Dube.
Julia and her bridesmaids were having a lot of fun when I arrived and they managed to watch two movies and get ready at the same time. Its was very cool, they even ordered lunch from the Hard Rock and got me a Hamburger! Thanks!
By 3:00 Mike was waiting across the street at Post Office Square for Julia to reveal herself. I followed Julia out of the hotel and across the block to where Mike was waiting. The joy on their two faces was incredible. LOVE!
We then did some family photos and then we were off to walk around Boston to state street for some photos.
The ceremony and reception were a fall theme with amber lights and fall foliage. It was a beautiful ceremony with everyone looking at the bride and groom and out over the city. Although it was a very dark ceremony too, lighting wise, and so I had to be extra careful to photograph it. Thank the lord for f1.2 lenses!
The band Night Rhythm was incredible. Journey never sounded so good, lol, from any other band I have head. There were lights, a photo booth, pasta, chinese food (which I had to steal some peking raviolis from :), beef and so much more. Its was one of those nights you will just never, ever forget.

While in NYC last week at the photoplus expo I picked up a Russian made panoramic camrea, the Horizon. I wanted a light camera that could shoot great panoramics that I could add to my camera bag without adding a ton of weight or cost. This camera, about $450, is all plastic but it has a rotating lens that takes 120 degrees of what is in front of you. So you have to be extra careful not to get your fingers in the shot as I did in a few frames, lol.
These are some shots from my first rolls of film in the camera, I plan to shoot a lot with it at my wedding this weekend, so check back next week to see what kind of uber shots I get with it.
I won't be shooting an entire wedding either with this camera, I mean its cool, but I just want it for some different looks and a new feel to some shots. Also getting to shoot film again is a blast. I have missed film for many years so this will be a new reason to get some Velvia, Sensia or T-Max! Yippi

So most of you know I love fashion and glamour photography, and for those of you who don't, well I love photographing people and showing how beautiful and sexy they are. This past week I had the chance to shoot a very talented model, Mellie Za, and I can't wait to share more of my shoot with her.

For now here is a tease with her super bright eyes!
