When I arrived at the hotel where Michelle was getting ready I was expecting to find her in one of adjoining sweets with her bridesmaids. What I found was scaffolding! The hotel was under construction and the rooms that Michelle was supposed to have, well they were not there yet!

Non the less Michelle, her mom, sisters and bridesmaids were unfazed by this and just excited to be getting all dolled up for the wedding! Michelle was super relaxed and so happy to be getting married, her sisters were equally cheerful and it could be seen in the way they looked at each other how happy they were for Michelle.
Together Michelle and Nathan are a loving couple ready to live life together and to its fullest. When I saw the tears in Nathan's eyes as Michelle was walking down the isle, I knew how much he loved her and she loved him.
For photos we headed to a pond in Lynefield and then back to Spinelli's for the reception. I have also been toying with the (new to me) concept of painting with light in the dark. I think I need a little bit for practice with it, to me it looks like proton streams surrounding Michelle and Nathan, still cool!

What's that funky car horn I hear? Could it be! It is! It's the General Lee, which Susie totally surprised her husband Adam with when they walked out of the church this past Saturday in Quincy. What better way to get to your reception then in a supercharged car from the 1970's!

Susie and Adam were incredible and totally head over heals for each other. Adam, to show his love had his own surprise for Susie. During the ceremony he broke out a guitar and out came and opera singer and a little duet was on scene for the lovely bride. It was very magical.

That's me! oh dear!

It was a dark, rainy two hour drive on the mass pike out to the tiny beautiful town of Northhampton where I met up with Matt and Laura for their wedding. Matt and Laura were in their apartment, with Matt getting ready downstairs with his brothers and Laura getting her hair and makeup with her bridesmaid upstairs in their living room.

I bounced back and fourth with the two for a few hours before we head out to the Wistariahurst Museum for the ceremony. The marriage would take place in the music room of the museum, which is this roman-greco creation that looks like a smaller version of the bellagio, and it very sic.
We were going to take photos downtown, but the rain changed that, so instead we shot in the museum and then at the reception venue, Union Station as well as in the Tunnel, a old railway platform turned into a bar. It was pretty cool!
Well enough of my talk! See how much love and fun there was!

Laura says:
Joseph,
Thank you for all the amazing pictures you took of our special day. Our guests keep telling us what a great job you did and most of the time I didn't even realize you were there. You know how to blend in and still get the greatest shots. Thank you for your hard work and patience.

This past weekend I photographed a kick ass wedding in Cape Cod for the wicked sic couple Jackie and Joseph! I drove down Friday night to avoid having to drive down Saturday morning and thank god I did, there was so much traffic on the bridge! EEK!

I met up with Jackie at the Winslow estate in Orleans, where the reception would be later on that day. The estate is a cool mansion built in the 30's with a spanish revival style, very cool. The actual reception would be in a tent in the yard on the ocean where I kept my eye out for one of the 27 great white sharks that had been spotted earlier this month, but I saw none, lol.
Jackie was gorgeous and her dress was super elegant and sic. Her bridesmaids rocked too! I photographed them getting ready and then headed to Chatham for the ceremony. Joseph was waiting at the alter for Jackie and was so happy to see her walk down the isle that I think he shed a few tears of joy, which is totally showing how much he loves her!
We then did some photos in downtown Chatham before heading back the Winslow estate for the reception, where the band Studio C was ready to kick start the evening and rock the night away!
