Every summer I attend my family's feast, the Madonna Della Cava in the north end of boston. Its a very fun time and very close to my heart.

Here are some photos I took with my canonet and some BW film. I will post some color soon.

i heart charleston: the city

From my day in the lovely city of Charleston, on a city walk and beach run.

All images fuji reala 100 and kodak portra 160.

I saw this gentleman walking around with this crucifix and had to hope out of the truck on the highway, in the rain to get this shot.

I really enjoy all of these shots, Joseph, and especially the boys playing in the fountain. There really is a specialness to film. Your particular touch with it makes it all the more special. Re: the man with the cross: In the late 60's and early 70's, a man named Arthur Blessitt also pulled a cross across much of the USA and stopped to conduct rallies in various cites. He added wheels to his cross because he said that he soon discovered that the cross was being ground away by the pavement. Enjoyed your site very much!

i heart charleston: the shrimpers

I had the chance to visit some close friends in South Carolina a little while ago and while down there took the chance to do some exploring. I"ll post a few entries on this, but for now here is a glimpse at some of the die hard shrimpers that work really hard to get us our shrimp cocktail.

tribute to lucky

So my best little buddy was hit by a car Sunday night. He was two. Here are some photos I took of him last week in my yard. The last one is a photo of my beagle Koko, he's alive.

up in the sky

Just a nice shot of the city from in the city and then some spring flower shots.

Horizon perfekt with kodak 400VC and portra 160 for the flowers. The flower shots were actually developed and scanned at wallgreens as i was just testing out a camera and wanted to make sure it worked, low and behold wallgreens did a decent film job!
