A few weeks ago my buddy Johnny invited me to go see him cover 50 Cent songs at the Middle East in Cambridge. It turned out to be a great night of music, coos coos and lamb shanks. A great combo.

I only brought to rolls of film with me thinking it was just going to be a small performance, but it ended up being almost a four hour concert. So I had to make my film last!
Shooting on my 1V loaded with portra 400 rated and push processed to 1600. I used The Finer Image Photo lab in Danvers, MA to process and scan these negs. Check them out, they are great.
See if you can spot the greenman drummer in a few shots. It was a crazy fun night! As I was walking in the twenty degree weather I also spotted a group of bikers going down main street and was totally amazed that they were not all falling on the icy roads. Then I saw a couple in a coffee shop and I just liked the way it looked so I snapped a frame too. From there I was off to the music,THE BANDS: Soozapalooza Supergroup, The Candles, Mistle Thrush, The Lights Out, Kristen Ford Band

David Blessing is the Culinary Arts Director for Longwood Events. Two weeks ago I was commissioned to shoot his portrait.

We shot for many hours around town and I think we achieved some awesome images.
The BW is Tri-X 400 and the color is the new Kodak Portra 400. Images were taken on 35mm and with my Pentax 645.
Check out some of my favorites...

I love love christmas. I am kinda like will ferral in Elf as christmas time. I just love it.
This year christmas was awesome. I received a vintage Canon QL17 camera from the 1970's as a gift. It is so small and fast, I love it. I took it everywhere I ventured to go, barring the time spent watching seasons of Psych on DVD with some wine and cookies while the snowstorm buried my town lol. Two feet of snow in my yard and a semi plowed street meant I was able to use my all wheel drive for the first time!
Well here are some shots taken with my QL17 on kodak portra 400, and portra 400 VC

Hi
I am really liking your urban portraits - they are an inspiration to me. I recently did a trash The Dress session and was wondering if you could take the time to provide some feedback! regards, Erik (Kerstenbeck Photographic Art)
