My friends Danielle and Matt had twins a few months ago and I had my first time to photograph them last monday. They were so cute to photograph and we had some great light to work with right before sunset in Danielle's parents backyard.
The black and white images are kodak tri-x400 shot at 200 and the color is portra 160vc. I shot this on my old elan 7e. I did not have to photoshop any of these images other then removing some dust that was caught in a few of the negative scans. Tell me the color is sweet and the babies skin tones awesome, right?
I love shooting babies! Enjoy!

Do you miss instant polaroid films? I do. Have no fear as its back. Yes there is the impossible project, but that film takes a little more effort and cost then I want. For me the new polaroid 300 camera and film, (which I am pretty sure they are just buying from fuji and putting their logo on it) is perfect. Its small, light and so so easy to use. Just a few options and its set to shoot.
I brought the camera to a wedding this weekend and to my godson's cowboy birthday party. Check out the results below.

Last weekend I did not have a wedding to shoot. It was my first weekend off since sometime in May. I needed this past weekend to recoup and rest. I loved it. I went to the Fisherman's feast in the north end, watched the sun set in newport and had a few drinks. It was a amazing weekend.
But as always, me being who I am, I had to take a few photos. The photos from this past weekend aren't back from the lab yet, but I do have a few others here from some various days this summer.
Everything below was shot on film.

Above, one of my favorite summer drinks. Izzies. (shot on kodak ektar 100)

A flag in my front garden.

Some beautiful flowers I saw while I was in Cape Cod for the day.

Baxter's seafood restaurant in Hyanis. I had fried everything. mmmm

My little cousin Joey having fun at Baxter's. Right after I took this photo, a drunk man fell right into the water. Yea, crazy. I know!
And I will end this post with a beautiful shot of my best friend! Rebecca!

Forgo Famine played at the Middle East in Cambridge on Saturday night and I was tasked with the job of taking some great rock and roll shots. Love their music.

The Fourth of July is my favorite time of the year. I love it more then I love christmas and I love christmas. This holiday I had the pleasure of being able to go sailing on my cousin Vinny's yacht and then being able to go the beach with my little cousins.

The actual Fourth was spent with my Nona who is going in for hear surgery soon, but monday and tuesday were ocean days for me.
All the images below were shot on 35mm film, Kodak Portra 160VC and 400VC. I love film. These shots have no corrections to them at all, these are the straight negative scans from the lab.
Enjoy and take a peak into my life :)
