Saturday found me up in Rockport with model Shannah Avery Taylor and my good photographer friend Johnny Arguedas for a little fashion shoot.
The theme, retro on the run. We wanted to make some high fashion story shots of a 1950's film with a girl on the run, you know, lost and looking for her knight in shining armor. lol. Well we had a sweet shoot and were probably the highlight of the wharf that evening.
I wanted to add some shots I shot in film that I just got back from the lab, sorry for the late update!

Hiya everyone!
Last night I went out on the Provencetown II to shoot some bands rock the night. I shot Forgo Famine and Full Tilt. They rocked the night away while I took photos with ear plugs on, lol. I can't do live music anymore without them. My ears just hurt!
Anyway, Jennifer Boss and her fellow bandmates were just awesome and I recommend checking them out sometime.

This weekend I am shooting what will be a incredible wedding in Las Vegas with Kelly and Ken at the Mandarin Oriental and Bellagio Hotels.

At the moment I am sitting here at the Jet Blue terminal at Logan Airport watching my plane, "breath of fresh Blue" pull into the boarding zone. There are a good hundred plus people around me all waiting for the 7:30 boarding call for our flight. I just thought I would share a few of my thoughts on flying and shooting.
I spend the day checking my gear, packing and then double checking. I got a hair cut, some new rolls of film and ran a number of errands around town. Checking into the flight was pretty simple, as well checking my lighting bag, no fee at at all, thanks jet blue!
I made sure that TSA hand inspected my film so that no fogging occurs. Now I wait. I wait to get on my flight, watch the little TV that will keep me going for the five hour flight to Vegas. My biggest decisions in the next few hours will be what channels do I want to watch, soda or wine, chips or cookies and nap or stay awake. Not bad right?
I think one day I should see if I can commissioned to just photograph people at the airport waiting. I think the airport shows a good cross reference of the US, and people. At least on Jet Blue. Rich, poor, young, old, Indian, Italian, everyone sits together and waits for their flight.
Cheers!
I will post some shots from the wedding saturday Sunday if I can!

If you read my last post about the 8 bit wedding, well this is the couple I am hoping that are going to pull it off.
I met up with Jared and Katelyn and we headed out around sunset to the state park to get some great ocean views. It was perfect out and we joked with each other the entire shoot.
Can't wait till their wedding next year!

So after a great engagement shoot with Kathleen an Jared tonight, we all sat down for a awesome dinner that the they had cooked for Riley and me. Over wine and dinner the main conversation was over video game systems and movies. After a while I tossed out the idea of Jared and Katelyn having a NES setup with powergloves and super mario brothers three hooked up to a projector so guest could play during cocktail or later in the evening at the reception. Just like in the 1989 film, Wizard, I thought it would be incredible.
Katelyn then asked me if I had seen the Mario wedding cake, which I had not. Now after seeing it, I really hope they decided to have their wedding be NES themes and have a totally awesome cake like this. Its only fitting :)
This cake was created by BETH at Let them eat Cake. I don't know who took the photos, but its such a rad cake.
I would say you could make each table at the wedding a different NES game, so guest could be at the Zelda table, or Top Gun Table, it would be such a rad reception. Maybe even a few Mario songs or themes tossed in here and there.
Just an idea :)
