This weekend I had no weddings and the snow and rain washed out my engagement shoots, so rather then spend my time doing nothing, I had some film scanned that I shot on the X-Pan on the fourth of July.
The X-pan is a camera I have been thinking about getting for my wedding work, so I tried it out this summer on a family gathering in mystic seaport. It was a fun day in this rustic town with everyone asking me, "why what's that old camera you have there," and I would tell them, "Its a hasselblad!
The camera was fun to use, but getting the negatives scanned was a pain as it shoots in 2:35:1
I did not use any good film for this trip as I did not know how this camera was going to work out, next time I use it I am gonna use some velvia or portra 160!

I just had another photo spread in Stuff Magazine! I had the assignment of shooting the office space of an interior designer in boston on Newburry Street!
I really hope to get more magazine shoots, they are so fun and give me a change to diversify what I shoot.

Saturday gave me the chance to shoot my first Greek Christening with one of my former couples from 2006!
I shot Athina and Nick's wedding back in 2006 and now here I am shooting their daughter's christening. It was a very spiritual ceremony with the baby being blessed by oil and prayer. The godparents hold the baby the entire ceremony and then present the baby with the priest to the parents at the end of the ceremony.
Anywhoo, here are some pics!

So about 5 years ago I went gung-ho into the film industry and produced and co-directed a feature film that I had shown here in Boston and out in LA. Needless to say my film caarear kinda got sidetracked with photography, but here is the trailer for the film.
